Best time to Travel

We want to go to Germany and discover their culture and lifestyle. August is a great time to visit Germany. The weather is great, there are beer festivals, wine festivals, music festivals, summer festivals and theatre festivals in German villages and towns as well as in Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Cologne. Wine festivals along the Mosel and Rhine and the Shleswig Holstein Music Festival are among favorites of visitors to Germany from around the world. Regardless of what you are interested in or where you are visiting in Germany, there are a great deal of events and festivals to choose from. For a comprehensive listing of some of the bigger events you can check out our picks for things to do in Germany in August.

Plan your trip around one of these special events or just check out the events listings to see what is going on in your destinations. The great thing about Germany's festivals is that the Beer Festivals, Wine Festivals and Summer Festivals are free to attend and offer great food and entertainment. The Theatron Music Festival in Munich held at Olympic Park is also free so you can always get a good dose of German fun regardless of the size of your pocketbook. Visiting Germany and not going to a festival is not against the law but it should be. German festivals are really great fun, regardless of whether it is in a small village or a major city. They provide a fun taste of German culture and people are always friendly and willing to start up a conversation so you are likely to garner some good travel tips from the locals that share a table with you or who are sitting next to you at a concert. We would also love to see Australia. Australia's coastline is home to a great number of beaches and bays that offer some of the best water sporting facilities. You could also relax and see the world go by as the waves crash against the turf. Other tourist attractions in Australia also include the many museums and galleries that abound in history and knowledge. Lastly, a number of events and festivals dot the Australian festival calendar. A window to the real Australia, attending or being a part of some of these festivals is a must for every visitor. Australia is indeed a mix of fun, pleasure, relaxation and knowledge. There is so much to see and do in this amazing country that visitors are really spoilt for choice. The Australia where the trees were not a part of 'landscaping design'. Where the only things colouring the water were fish. Where it was harder to find a noisy spot than a quiet one. It can still be found in Western Australia - unspoilt beaches, amazing scenery, big blue skies and friendly faces. In Western Australia you can dive with the world's largest fish - the whale shark, walk amongst the tree tops of ancient trees, sleep under a canopy of stars in the desert, or explore the gorges and wilderness areas.

The tourist's spots in western Australia are:

Australia's Coral Coast
Australia's Golden Outback
Australia's North West
Australia's South West
and Experience Perth
