I've been to tons of New Year's Eve parties before but this year is the first time that I've actually hosted one. I'm a little nervous about it but I think that it's going to be really great. I've been planning for a few weeks now and because we went home to my parents' for Christmas, I've been able to concentrate on hosting this party.

2010 was actually our first year as a married couple and homeowners, so I'm still kind of excited to show off our house because this is the first big event we've hosted in it. I've been getting a lot of the ideas and recipes for the party online and when I was looking up a cheese ball recipe about a week ago I came across the website Cleartvbundle.com. I looked through it a little bit and then we signed up for one of the home internet packages we found on there.

I just hope that we have enough room in our house for the New Year's party because it isnÕt exactly a mansion.

Every year my family and I gather together on New Year's Eve and have a quiet evening at home waiting to ring in the New Year. We have a nice family dinner, then desserts and then it's time to put on the television and watch Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve. This show has been on the air ever since I can remember. Dick Clark always puts on great show with many different entertainers. He has a lot of musical numbers that are played and it is just a tradition with our family to watch this each year.

Dick Clark does not actually host the show any longer but, he is there anyway. He counts down the minutes until the New Year and builds the excitement along the way. My family and I always watch this show on our satellite television from http://www.cannonsatellite.com/ since it gives us the best reception for it. We never lose the signal and even if the weather is bad on New Year's, we always get this show. Over the years, Dick Clark has been known to kick start the careers of many new singers and often these now famous people will appear on his show on New Year's Eve.

Many stars like Barry Manilow have appeared on this show over the years. Barry Manilow actually wrote the theme song for Dick Clark's bandstand show years ago, I believe.

Aspen: A Skier's Delight

Our family enjoys skiing as a way to exercise while also spending quality time together. One of our favorite places to ski is in Aspen, Colorado. We have stayed at a number of resorts in this city and love the casual, relaxed atmosphere of the town. Nestled between Smuggler Mountain and Aspen Mountain, the town is a skier's delight.

Once a year, my oldest son meets us and his two younger siblings for a weeklong retreat in Aspen. We usually visit in February when the conditions are perfect for skiing. Though we have stayed at rental condominiums in the past, our family prefers to stay at a resort because of convenient access to restaurants and the slopes. The price is often slightly higher, but we truly enjoy meeting new people and families at the ski lodges.

Preparing for our annual ski trip involves making sure we have brought all the ski equipment we need. Since our family drives to Aspen, innovative packing methods are a must. We usually tie large equipment, like skis, to the top of our car. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas lives on forever in my mind as my favorite animated Christmas special. I could give you all the reasons for this, but it would take years to explain it all to you. The green Grinch doesn't like Christmas but the Who's in Whoville set him straight. After much evil, he's able to see the true meaning of Christmas and even carve the roast beast, something that is endlessly cute to myself and anyone else out there that has ever appreciated this Christmas classic.

My list of favorite shows usually includes all those Christmas classics. I don't mind watching a show or two that's new every season but my heart belongs to the old, established shows that have proven themselves reliable over the years. Every time I watch one of these shows, it's like I've never seen it before in my life. The magic happens all over again. I plan to continue enjoying The Grinch Who Stole Christmas every year on my direc 4 u television broadcast, and I'll pass the tradition down to my children and any other children in the world that want to see one of the greatest animated specials of all time.

It's the best at Christmas but it's also best in its category. There's a reason that the Grinch is a highly memorable classic and one viewing will prove it.

The film "Ebbie" is an updated version of the Charles Dickens' film "A Christmas Carol". My family and I all gather round when it comes on and watch it together. We pop some popcorn, light a fire, turn on the satellite television from bestchoicetv.com to watch "Ebbie" and enjoy.

The film centers around a business women named Elizabeth "Ebbie" Scrooge. She is taught a lesson by three ghosts of the Christmas season. "Ebbie" is not as scary as "A Christmas Carol" according to my children. It is much easier to watch this film with my children because of this. It still teaches the same morals and principles that "A Christmas Story" does; however, it does it with an updated feel.

I know it is Christmas time when I see "Ebbie" come on. I start to see the commercials for it starting the week after Thanksgiving. I started watching this film when it was released in 1995. I just hope that I have passed the tradition on to my children. It is a timeless movie that thrills me no matter how many times I have watched it.

My son and I absolutely love to watch Nickelodeon together! All of our favorite shows come on there-Fairly Oddparents, Spongebob, Wonder Pets, and even Go Diego Go! Patrick is both my son's favorite character as well as mine. It is always a special treat when we watch Nick on our DIRECTV.

Of all the shows we watch, Spongebob is our favorite. Patrick always makes us laugh, and my son loves to imitate Squidward. Nick really knew what they were doing creating this show. There is no wonder why it is such a hit. No matter what your age, it will always bring you a ton of laughs.

Go Diego Go has even helped the both of us learn a bit of Spanish! Not a lot of cartoons these days are educational, so I sure appreciate those that are both fun and educational. At 5 years old he can speak more Spanish than me, and I owe it all to Diego!

And who can forget The Wonder Pets? The theme song to Wonder Pets is so catchy, I find myself singing it long after the show has went off! We are so glad to be able to watch Nickelodeon together!

It was a browsing Black Friday for me. You know, nothing particular in mind but you're waiting for something to scream at you. I waltzed through a few stores like Best Buy, Bon Ton and a new store in the neighborhood called Below 5. Everything is $5.00 or below. (O.K. name makes that point obvious) But anyways I did come across some lovely Nintendo DS Lite carrying cases. My daughter was fascinated by the Hello Kitty design, sparkly red with Hello Kitty sitting on a rainbow. Normally this type of item in regular stores will go for around $17.00-$25.00. I paid only-well-$5.00.

A friend that was with us actually needed something electronic that's where Best Buy came in the picture. He didn't find what he was looking for though. The continuous walking around was starting to take a toll on my feet, stylishly fit into a pair of sleek cowboy boots. Oh, we did stop by Wally's (Walmarts) just to pick up some basics. We did find some pretty good exercise clothing. Great “bang for the buck” as they say. Finally returned homed to some nice cozy heated rooms, flopped down on my comfy sofa to watch my satellite TV from DirectStarTV.com. For me, that was a great ending to a typical Black Friday.

One of our family's favorite winter activities is skiing. Since we have family located in Virginia, West Virginia, and West Tennessee, the city of Gatlinburg in the eastern region of Tennessee serves as a perfect spot for us to meet once a year for our annual family reunion. We usually schedule this event during the winter months in order to take advantage of the ideal skiing opportunities at Ober Gatlinburg. This resort is convenient to all of the activities that Gatlinburg has to offer. It is a great place for beginning skiers and children too.

How often have you walked through a trade show and disregarded an entire aisle of exhibits because nothing really attracted your attention? In the exhibit industry, there are often times when standard trade show displays are passed over. The goal is to be dynamic, captivating, and attractive to attendees. And yet it is so easy to make the same display mistakes year after year that detract from this goal.

Many exhibitors do not consider the sheer fatigue of the average trade show attendee who has to make their way through tons of exhibits that all look relatively the same. We know that a good trade show exhibit must attract their attention in only a few seconds. Often times, exhibitors work at odds against this idea because they fill their exhibits with too much information. It is important to have a visual focal point; your core message, rather than a bombardment of individual trade show graphics and images that may turn off weary eyes. Produce large graphics for your main idea and compliment your visual presentation with pictures. Interesting images can effectively convey a message faster than words.

Light naturally triggers a visual AND an emotional response, distinctively or subtly. Think about it. Hazard lights, blinking lights, a sunrise, a sunset, all affect us in different ways.

Aruba Beach Wedding

I just got back from my sister's wedding at a beautiful resort on the island of Aruba. The resort wasn't your typical high-rise that towers over a crowded beach. Instead it was a low-rise building nestled in lush gardens, and it had everything a bride could want for her dream wedding. White sand on the beach, turquoise water, and deep green palm trees were just the beginning of the delights that awaited us.

Once all the guests arrived, we enjoyed a buffet supper and then went for an evening sailboat tour of the island. I'll never forget the fresh scents of the water and that breeze in my hair. After we freshened up, we met everyone at one of the clubs to enjoy some dancing and live music. My sister and I shared a luxurious air conditioned room that night. Then, the next morning, she and I dressed like we always dreamed we would for her big day: like two fairy princesses. Then we headed for the beach and the most romantic wedding ceremony I've ever witnessed. James Garner has been my favorite television and movie actor for years. I first saw him in his western TV series "Maverick", and he became an instant favorite. When I was a kid, I wished I had a hat like his from the series, and I even practiced that charming grin in the mirror after the show. Then came "The Rockford Files", and I'll tell you the man didn't lose any of his acting ability. He played a private detective with that same level of charm as he played the gambler in "Maverick".

I like to take my own spin on things and do things differently whenever I can. It's not that I think I'm better than everybody else or anything like that, but I just like to do things differently and make the stuff that I do stand out. So I decided that this would be the year that I would get a new menorah that's just a little crazy and different for a change.

This Thanksgiving, our family will be driving to Chicago, Illinois to visit my sister and her family. I love Chicago during the holiday months because there is always so much to see and do, even though the weather is brisk and windy. Although my sister and her family do not live in the city of Chicago, they do live in a nearby suburb. We really can't wait to take a walk down the famed Michigan Avenue, which is otherwise known as the Magnificent Mile. At this time of year, they are gearing up for the Christmas season, and the store windows are decorated elegantly and beautifully. In addition to all the site seeing that we will do, I can't wait to sit down with my family for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, string bean casserole and cranberries. Also, my sister plans on making lasagna and a small ham. Of course after dinner and clean-up, there is nothing more to do except take a nice rest, while watching the holiday shows. Of course we will miss home, but there is nothing better than visiting family during the holiday season. I have been making good money on eBay auctions for years and found the best stress reliever when working is to pick up my laptop and get out of the house. The local coffee cafe in Sherman Oaks is my target destination for some fresh air, urban sounds and a connection with the outside world. I was alone and noticed a nice gal sitting right in front of the group of rowdy guys, who were growing in numbers to about ten. Samantha was on her own, as I was, and she was also working online. I motioned for her to come to my quiet table at the other end of the cafe seating, and we worked independently for a while on our projects. Then I shared with her my eBay endeavors and we really hit it off and became fast friends. Samantha and I can talk about anything and she is a real soul mate for a lifelong friend. You never know when a special person is just around the corner, so my best advice is to keep your senses aware and give people a chance.

One of the best shows of my childhood and teenage years was Hey Arnold. This was a cartoon show on Nickelodeon and it was very popular for quite a while. I actually remember watching it from the beginning and they even had an episode where one of the characters' voice changed because the kid who played him was going through puberty. That was a pretty cool episode and after that, Gerald's voice was a lot deeper than usual.

Hey Arnold featured a young football-headed boy name Arnold who lived with his grandfather in a boarding house full of other funny people. Some of his housemates were My Hyunh who was an Asian country singing sensation who was played by country legend Randy Travis when he was singing.

Arnold went to school at P.S. 118 and his best friend was Gerald, the boy I mentioned earlier whose voice cracked. Arnold had an antogonist named Helga, who was actually secretly in love with Arnold, almost to the point of being creepy. Helga would constantly harass and tease Arnold about his football-shaped head but nobody knew about her secret obsession with him. She even had a shrine in her bedroom of Arnold. This show was on Nickelodeon during the 1990s but these days you can only watch Hey Arnold on satellite TV from www.tvbydirect.com/directv-deals.html on one of Nickelodeon's sister stations.

Getting some new replacement windows…

We recently decided that we wanted to try and reduce the heating costs for our home. The electric bills were getting really high every month. We did several different things, but the most important was we got replacement windows for our home. We went to a local hardware store to figure out which ones we wanted to install. We didn't know the first thing about doing it ourselves so we had to hire someone to do it for us also.

I honestly didn't realize what an effect replacement windows would have on our home, but it was amazing. They installed the windows right away and immediately I could tell a difference. One thing was that our house just looked a lot nicer outside. These new windows made our home look like a different one. Another thing that I really liked was that the drafts seemed to be gone. When I walked by the windows, the temperature didn't change. Used to you would feel a cool breeze sometimes, but this was gone. The first month I got a new heating bill I was so excited. Our bills had dropped a significant amount. The replacement windows will pay for themselves in just a short amount of time. I am very glad we made this decision.

Roommate Birthday Bash

My roommate is having a birthday very soon and I wanted to plan a spectacular party for her. We happen to be very close friends also and always know what the other is doing and where they are going. There's absolutely no way I would be able to get out of the house long enough to search all over town for the perfect decorations and party invitations. Even if I did buy the invitations she would surely check the mail before me, then I wouldn't know what to do.

Luckily I had a bright idea to try surfing on hughes net internet service to look for party favors and so on. I found a website that works great for people just like me trying to be sneaky and plan a party. They send out the invitations for you if you provide all the addresses and names. They also can ship your packages directly the UPS store for you to pick up on your own time. That way they won't come when I'm not home and the surprise will be ruined.

Safety First

It's been busy all week at the office, we're all trying to push to open the business to public next month. I've been working on the inventory and safety of our employees on the field. After searching different online company's for supplies we need, I found Safety Supply America. They've got all we needed. From Safety Glasses to FR Cotton Coveralls... they have it. They even have NFPA 70E Flame Resistant Clothing and FR Clothing. All I need is wait for them to deliver, thank God they exist, lol.

Nothing is more important than you

We celebrated the hearts day in a different way this year. No special gifts and we didn't dine out like we used to do. We decided to hang out at Shaun's office and played E.Q. and did some research on different things. Then we ordered food from Romas Italian Restaurant. It was very nice, we get to chat more and spent time more to each other, it was fun. Drauka, his puppy was with us too.

But before all this happened, I came to his office with a surprise. A box of chocolate, a musical stuff toy, which I always love to have and of course a card that I think it's cute and sweet. All these are perfect, I don't need a diamond or gold, or any material things... all I wanted is HIM and the time he spent with me. I am more in love with him each day we live and I will always love him 'till my last breath.

Okay, here's the bad news, per my MRI, I have Herniated disc which is the reason why I was in severe pain, ran to ER, missed my work for a week and feel miserable even with prescribed medication. The doctor said that it can go worse or it can go better - which we all hope it goes better. She had ordered Physical Therapy, that's 3 times a week. OU CFB kick ass!!! Congrats team!

We had friends over this weekend and of course we all had a great time. Shaun grilled steak that is "oh so yummy", finger food that is so freaking hot but so good at the same time, LOL. I forgot the name of it but its Jalapeno filled with cheese and herbs, and wrapped with bacon - yummy. Our friends stayed the night, after watching the game, we drink (as usual) and played cards, the game was fun and the players were hilarious. Can't wait to see them again. Sissy Misty was there too and am very glad they had a great a time as well.

We have a new German shepherd puppy. His name is Brauka - strange name but unique. Shaun picked the name this time - he got it from the book he's reading (which will be on TV series pretty soon). Brauka is a character - who's known as the mighty and fearless warrior... which we believe describes our new puppy's character. Anyway, he's only 4 months old, very active and intelligent. He's certified S.A.R. Type A (Search And Rescue) Candidate. He's so adorable. I have a few picture of Brauka on one of my albums, just in case you want to look at him.

I am just so happy right now. I thank God for every single blessings He gave us - All are Priceless!

I think I'll have to get off here... gtg... don't want to miss the shopping discount... LOL.

Yesterday, I found out that one of my co-workers got mad at me because I was doing my job and was following instruction from my superior. I knew she was pissed because we made her do something aside from "whatever she's doing back there" lol. Anyway, yesterday, I saw her at the hallway and I said "Hey there"… she gave me that cold dirty look and just walked off. Well, I knew it was coming but I still said hi to her because we used to chat (all the time). Why is she taking it so personal? damn it! I was just doing my job - LoL. Why didn't she come up to me and say something instead of acted like a spoiled brat child. I've heard so many bad stories against her but I tend to ignore them, but yesterday was a hard slap on my face. So it's true…. (Who cares?! LOL) hate me as long as you want… it won't bother me a bit.

Last weekend was fun by the way. Thank you for those who came to our party. We took a few pictures and most are videos. OU won of course… boring but we won and that matters. Food was great… dude talking about Fiesta. Drinks… uurrggh… my goal was to get drunk but the more I took shots the more I got sober… ha-ha, weird but true. My friends and my sisters finally met and I'm so glad they like each others party, yey! No drama that night so that's cool. Then, we played "Rock Band" – was really fun.

Tonight, it's just me and my sister, fixing to watch a movie. I'm sick though – hoping not to catch flu.

- Shaun bought a brand new pick up and I'm glad he loves it. I drove it twice and that was it... LOL. He will never stop if I put a small scratch on it, ha-ha. Aside from the new vehicle, the company provided an iPhone for him... spoiled! Means to say... he's enjoying his life.

- My mother-in-law just got out from the hospital last night. She's doing a lot better now compared when they ran her to the emergency room. She was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism (Lung Blood Clot) and was in critical condition. We're all glad that everything went well... thank you Lord! We love you mom!

- We get to see Shaun's nephews and nieces... they're all taller than me... hu-hu.

- OU party on Saturday at our place... we're all excited.

... what else? hmm... I guess it's time for "demo-crap news"

- At work... SOS 'Same-Old-84iL' I've finally told my boss that I don't want to work with crappy old boy anymore... he's so LAZY and FAKE!!!! Funny 'coz the karma just started. Good Luck freak!

On June 23rd, we celebrated our friend's Baby Shower. She's having a boy on September and we are all excited to see the baby. I was one of the party organizers and it was really fun. We had lots of Filipino food and fun games for everybody. Shaun was there too, you might wonder why since baby showers are for ladies only, LOL. Well, the Mommy of the baby invited spouses, and to be honest, its more fun that way because you can get guys to play the Mommy Role for a day, LOL. We had this one game that was made for couples, they had to dress up like a baby and when they're done they had to say "Da-Da" (real baby talk)... OMG, it was hilarious. I have photos and videos of them and you guys should see it, I will upload them as soon as I get my laptop working again (grrr). We left the party around 10 pm (I think) so needless to say we were tired and sleepy the following day... LOL.

Jo and Lhen, congratulations! Syndey, Rosalie, Chope, Evita and Elna... thank you guys for everything... we all did a great job!

Anyway, if you have noticed, I've been out of the Internet world for a couple of weeks. I just want everybody to know that I have never forgotten you and thank you for those who remembers to visit my blog, friendsters, myspace and multiply... oh yeah, let's not forget Cyworld, LOL. We've just been busy lately and whenever we get home all we wanted is to lay down and relax. Shaun and I are also preparing for the upcoming OU Game next month. We are going to have a party at our house on the first game, that being said, this will keep us occupied for the entire month.

Oist! mustamos mga kapatid? Ako? okay lang. Its been awhile since my last post noh? as usual, busy especialy since my sister arrived from Hawaii. She made me addicted to shopping again, its like a "Reborn Shopper", LOL. I said that because I used to shop like crazy, but since I got older medyo mahina na, haha. I do shop pa rin naman even before she got here, but I enjoy shopping with a shoppi-holic person like my sister.

Anyway, my kitchen is currently under renovation, with the help of my sister of course. We could probably finish half of it by the end of the week. For the past few weeks, we've been going out with Shaun's family. Like two weeks ago, we went to Sulphur Spring. It was fun and we would love to go back. Isha enjoyed the water as well, it was her first time so medyo shock pa sya. Then last night, we talked about going to Medicine Park and Six Flags... everyone was excited.

My days were pretty much filled with excitement. Except I didn't get the position that I applied for. Our company was open for Payroll & Wage Administrator, I went for it since I have 3 years experience on payroll administration. Well, my boss was not happy when I gave him my application, but he did support me. In fact he told the upper management how good I was and the result of my reviews, naks naman, hehe. He really thought I would get it, he even asked me to train someone for my replacement, haha. But anyway, I didn't get the job due to the fact that I have a relative in the building. YES... bwisit! The HR told me that they would love to give me the position, they're impressed with my resume unfortunately its the rule. Kasi daw, I would have full access on employees' 201 File. So to avoid issue "wag" nalang daw, huhu.

But you know what? I'm not even upset, why? 'cause at least I know that I was qualified and they gave me very good feedback. Pero okay lang, I don't quit that easy naman, hehe. And they just gave me a a pay raise the same day, haha.

Wow, since my sister arrived from Hawaii, I've been busy all the time, but I'm happy and I enjoyed everything we do... its so much fun. We didn't had a welcome party or anything for her but we did went out on her first Friday. Shaun was already at the bar since 4PM that day, then Misty called so we decided to meet Shaun at the bar. We had fun of course, and I missed Misty also so we chat all night and went to bed like 4am, lol.

The next day, Shaun, Marie and I went to Sherman, TX. We shopped and we shopped...lol. And the shopping didn't stop 'till yesterday, I missed all these and now I am enjoying it. I love it.
Then last night, we went to our Filipino friends in Durant and they drink 'till they hit the floor. Food was great and we had a blast. Shaun had fun and he really enjoys their company. He was hitting Tiquilla, Beer and Whiskey... just imagine what happened after that, LOL.

I'm so happy - really happy. Thank you LORD!

As I mentioned earlier about my sister moving with us... I am so excited. I'm fixing t clean her room today so everything will be ready when she gets here. I have already set plans for the next weekend. Shoot, I even filed days off... LOL. I just can't wait to see her and I bet we're going to have a never ending chikka, lol.

Finally!

Almost all of my friends online are doing PayPerPost and they're statements are very encouraging. So I told myself "why not?". I control my own time and when I get home I won't get bored sitting and watching drama shows, lol. Instead I can get online and work for PayPerPost at my convenient time. I got some great news (for those who care, lol)

- I got my contact lenses already... Thank God! and thank you Shaun, mwah! I decided to see my eye doctor on Thursday afternoon, you know just for an annual check up. Then I decided to get contact lenses. I was lucky to get my first pair that same day, too bad for my office mate that she had to wait for 2 weeks. Now I can see well without my eyeglasses, but not as clear though. Eye glasses makes everything more sharp, but not with contact lenses. But all is good and my eyes are still adjusting to it.

- My boss assigned me to train the new girl in our office... I take that as a compliment, yepeey! Does this mean they trust that I know what I'm doing? LOL. And as for the guy who thinks he knows everything and was expecting that he'll train the new girl... he's upset, LOL. What worse was, he was giving me these outloud sarcastic compliment like "you did a good job Steph - she's doing great-you train so good" Oh come on, we know that was a bull crap comment. We knew that he was upset when our boss pointed me to train the new girl. Boss heard his comment and our boss compared us, I know it was wrong, very wrong, but our boss is not stupid as he think. Boss can tell that this guy always want to compete with me which is ridiculous. But oh well, lets just count that as another blessing.

- My sister is moving with us... wohooo! Its been like 4-5 years since I last saw her, long story. She's now in Hawaii with my two brothers and she'll soon be here on the 2ND week of May. As we all know, there's no such thing as "perfect sisterhood" - we had our conflicts and sweet moments too just like everybody else. I love my sister... plus Shaun's two sisters... haaay... am so blessed with 3 sisters and not to mention my 2 future sister in laws, though I haven't met them in person yet, I think we'll be great friends, just like we are now, we chat once in awhile.

Another great news is - YOU. yes YOU! You're one of my avid readers. Thank you so much for stopping by. I know that even I don't get any comment from you, I still see each person who stop and read, I have my eyes behind the web you know, LOL.

Shaun's Birthday

He is now officially 28 years old, he he . Shaun had to work on his birthday but it got paid off last night. We went to Logan's with our family and close friends. Food was great, we had steak of course, yummy! I couldn't even finish the whole thing 'cause it was huge. It got a little bit chaos when our food was being served, just imagine 15 heads to serve, lol... I thought it was funny. Then while we're eating and chatting a group of Logan's crew came to us and ask who's the celebrant... Shaun got shy and he refused to give out his name, but we all did gave his name... mwahaha. Then this girl announced it and the crowd went "Wooohhaaaa" ... it was fun although Shaun got embarrassed.

Afterwards we went to Luke's Sports Bar. We played billiards, talk and enjoy the music live band. It sucked because I was not allowed to drink alcohol at the bar 'cause I was the D.D. But I did had one 22oz Ice Cold Flat Tire Beer at Logan's; and I forgot that it was a 6point beer, so I was like "hello you're in Texas now", lol. There were a little drama here and there but all went well afterwards.

Thank you to Mom, Dad, Jonathan, Brandon, Misty & kids, Mike, Tarina, Jodi, Sheri, Marcus and Regina; for joining us celebrate Shaun's birthday. It was fun and we hope you enjoyed it as well. Thank you also for our friends who sent him greetings.

Gosh - I'm so excited already for his 30th birthday, I have plans already but I won't tell yet, hihihi.

Although there are also online relationship that ended up horribly. I was never encouraged to join or even peep on any dating sites. To me its kinda' scary - this is just my own opinion. A Couple of News

We got busy over the weekend. Shaun's sister was in town Friday night and we took her out to eat at Salita's, our German friend dropped by for a beer also. Then we went to her place afterwards, played Wii and drink of course. Following day we ran home to work on our yard, it was tiring. I never thought that landscaping is a pain in the butt, lol, but it was fun. Then Saturday evening, we went to our new Filipino friends in Durant (Lhen, Jo, Rosalie and Sydney). They've been here for at least a year already. Shaun was happy to meet them, new friends, new people... at last! They're all nice and grabeh - they cook so good. Shaun loved the food. It was really fun and we promised them a steak cook out next time, its Shaun's turn to cook - I'll be the helper, hehe. We left their apartment around 2 a.m... yeah that late. I'm glad that Shaun enjoyed his time with them, its like they know each other already. We can't wait to hang out with them next time.

Not only that we have new friends in town, I have a new Aunt, she's a Filipina who is married to Shaun's uncle... am so happy. She's nice, very loving, real person (I can tell) and pretty just like "pamangkin" hehe. I can't wait to see her in person... soon - very soon Tita.

Taxes - I've been bitchin' about taxes few weeks back and I finally decided not to bitch anymore, LOL. Thank God there are auditors! we recently found out that there were entry errors on Shaun's payroll, so they filed a correction. In short - we don't have to pay too much and we get refund from Federal... damn State!

Anyway, I guess that's all for now. I took a 2 day off from work - wohoo!

Saturday Boredom

Our Saturday was kinda' boring, we supposed to work outside but it rained, so we stayed inside watched T.V. shows and played with our pets. Took a nap late afternoon and woke up... again bored. Shit, there's nothing to do around this area. We decided to go to town, Shaun was in the mood for Mexican meal so we went to Salita's Sports Bar. We thought of going to Texas also but we're kinda' hungry and we can't wait any longer, lol. Anyway, so we ate, talked about our business project and more, it was fun and I feel so motivated now to continue my research.

We went to bowling center and OMG, it was packed. Tonight was the first time seeing the place packed. We wanted to play but the waiting list was long, ngek! Even the movie theater, they were packed. Shaun wanted to watch the Superhero Movie but instead we watched Drillbit Taylor and it was hilarious. After the movie, we stopped at a store and got us some ice cream, got home and watched Comedy Central... and here I am, blogging.

Speaking of movies... I've finally watched "I am Legend" I promised myself not to watch it but I still did. And yes I cried. I really did. Over all - - - it was a good movie, I should have watched it in the first place.

My Week So Far

I went to a Filipino gathering last Tuesday in Durant. If I didn't checked my friendster I wouldn't know about it. Shaun didn't make it to the party 'cause he had to work 'till 8:30p.m. and the party started at 6:00p.m. I had so much fun, I met new friends and I was the only non-medical person in the crowd, lol. I can't wait to see them again and Shaun would love them I'm sure, they're young and cool, just like us, he he. I've been waiting for this moment to happen, to be able to meet new Filipino friends in town. I'm just so glad there's a small Filipino community building up, more parties to go and more Filipino food to share, he he.

Speaking of "building" - - - there will be a new Vegas Style 12 Story Hotel and Casino in Durant in about 2 years from now. I just can't wait to see it, he-he. I found out about this project through Shaun, kasi the contractors wanted them to bid on the project. So Shaun knows that this is going to be huge.

Anyway, I guess that's all for tonight, its getting late I had to crawl on my bed na, its going to be a long day for us tomorrow.

Hello - Hello !!!

We celebrated our Easter yesterday at Shaun's parents place. The kids hunt eggs... I joined them and it was fun and hilarios (long story). I ended up having $7 and candies but I gave them to Tristian (Shaun's Nephew) 'cause he helped me reach the egg from a tree, ha-ha. Courtney won the game, she got like 19 eggs with prizes. We also played Wii game, it was fun although I pulled muscle, lol. Everyone loves Wii and Shaun's parents are fixing to get one... and so are Weeee... hehe. We love it!

Ofcourse there were food... lots of food and dessert (Yummy). First time I've had Velvet Cake, uhmm, so yummy. I thought they were yukky but when I tasted it, gosh... the slices kept coming. And now I gained the pounds that I just lost few weeks ago. We planned to have a get together again next month and we're planning to have a family trip anytime soon. We are so excited.

Better than I felt few days ago. After the OKC Trip, the Concert and All - I am so thankful that I feel so much better now. I've been wanting to post since we got back but my body ain't ready for it yet. I called in sick last week and I barely made it to work last Friday. It was horrible and I couldn't stand being miserable all week. Shaun took me to Urgent Care Clinic 'cause we didn't have a choice since my doctor was out of the office that day.

Anyway, I just want you to know that I'm back and ready to kick some butt, hehe. Advance Happy St. Patrick's Day to All and Happy Blogging!

OKC Trip

The trip was a blast although Shaun had a flu during the weekend, he really tried to fight it with the help of Alcohol, lol. The Linkin Park Concert was freaking awesome and I can't wait to see more of their concert. We took photos and videos since Friday and you can see them at LITRATO, MySpace, Friendster, Multiply and YouTube. If they're not there yet, please check them again later.

I will also write a review on the places we went to. Don't forget to check Shaun's Blog "Heinekman" . You may want to check it this weekend 'cause he's still tired and lazy to blog. But I'm pretty sure he'll blog about our OKC Trip and he loves to write reviews.

Its been awhile since my last post and am back to give you an update.

Shaun and Moi - - -

... we're doing great and we're both excited for our trip to OKC this weekend with friends. Linkin Park Concert and bar hopping on Friday evening. Shop and museum tour on Saturday and on Sunday maybe mall and shop again, lol, then we'll return on Monday. So its going to be fun and tiring at the same time, he he . We are also doing some research on purchasing land and building a house in the Philippines. And... a cottage in Medicine Park Oklahoma for yearly get away.

Our Pets - - -

... they're all fine. We took Isha to the Vet yesterday for her yearly check up and shots. She's a great dog and she makes us proud for being so behave in the clinic. Shaun was hoping she weigh more than 60lbs. But that's fine, as long as she's healthy and adorable, everything is good. She's picky when it comes to food so its really hard to get what she really wants. As far as Kimber and Lolah, they're getting fat. They eat like a pig, lol. We're going to miss them this weekend, of course I'll be worry all weekend 'cause they're my babies.

... still surrounded with pathetic idiots. I never confronted them but my boss noticed the distance between me and the two. So he asked and I told him. He's definitely on my side, he he . He even told me to fight back and if they get smart ass on me, I should jump on their ass too. He also told me that he's impressed with my ability and the effort that I gave to his department, so there's no reason for me to step down just because these people are against me. So I tend to ignore them and of course they were wondering what was going on and how come I never talked to them as I used to. One says "She don't fucking care" and the other One says "He don't care either" but turned around and been watching me and interrogating the people that I talked to. Asking them if I said something or what... so He can defend himself. They're guilty aren't they? If they really don't give a shit, why keep interrogating my friends, hmm? Pathetic dumb ass!

Now, my only concern is my work, my real friends, my family and my husband. We have our plans and they're not in it so - - - I don't care what they say against me 'cause they're not that important people in the world. If they personally confront me, I would tell them what I know and of course I would not reveal the source, that would be against the rule of secret, naks! he he.

Should I feel sorry for myself? Until now I've been worrying about those 2 shit heads. It really bothers me and I know that it will affect my work. I woke up this morning with a headache maybe because I've been thinking so much about it. This is my weakness - - - "People who talks behind my back" - - - and my solution is to "confront them". That's right, I'm like a soul that is held on the ground because of unfinished business. Okay - so I've decided to confront them right? this morning I read my Horoscope, I don't normally do it but today it was strange... and it says;

Doing whatever you want whenever you want is simply not possible, especially now, when you have made so many commitments to so many people. But if you try hard enough, you can still exert a lot of control over the course of the day. All you need to do is avoid conflict. So try to resist your natural urge to go against the crowd, because it could ruffle a few feathers. Just go with the flow and play nice. You don't want to rock the boat when you're this far out at sea!

Alright, so no more confrontation then - its not worth it to spend a minute of my time to tell them how pathetic they are. They're not the only bad co-workers that I've met and dealt with and let me just say that I am proud and happy for myself because I never quit, and I will never let anybody just step on me. I picked the worng people whom I thought I can be friends with - - - I was wrong. The people who stands besides me are the ones that I should call real friends. But it happens everywhere, you'll never know when a person turns her/his back against you - you just never know.

That is why I'm thankful to have some real people in my life. Thank you for those who have been and still honest and true to me and to themselves. I don't have to metion their names 'cause they already know who they are.

Hi guys, thank you for updating my link on your site. Well, I never got an answer from Google, but Blogger Help Group have responded on my inquery. They told me that I may have been playing with my setting, then accidentaly changed the URL, and by that time, somebody was trying to register and grabed the URL http://scorpionlady77.blogspot.com As far as my Blogger Account - everything still there except for the URL. But I don't recall changing anything on my setting "I SWEAR" - I just posted an entry and that was it. Just Peeping

Last Friday was a blast, sorry I didn't get to share it ''cause I slept all weekend. I got off early from work, went home and rest... as if I needed a rest, ha-ha. Then we went to Sherman with friends, Mike and Tarina. Went to Elk's Lodge (Shaun is a member by the way, perks!perks! perks!) Gosh the NY Steak was good - oh so yummy! Can't wait to come back for more steak. After we ate, the boys stayed at the lodge and of course, Tarina and I went shopping. I let Tarina drove the truck since I'm not familiar with the Texas highway, come to find out she's not familiar either, hehe. Yeah we "almost" got lost - but we made it, thank God. If there were no people around I would kiss the ground, lol. We didn't get a chance to shop more because we didn't get enough time, so the next time we go out shopping again we had to leave early. We went back to the lodge and for some reason Tarina kept thinking about N75, and as soon as she turned she realized that we supposed to be on S75 (duh), haha, so she had to turn around and again... we made it to our destination. Our husbands were drunk and having fun when we arrived. We talked to few people, we played pool and I beat Tarina's ass!!! hehe (love you girl). We stopped at Denny's to eat and sober up, I was disappointed with the food service, crew are slow and waitress is not very attentive... her excuse was?... " this is my first day". No shit! Anyway, food wasn't great either so Denny's is history. We really had fun although I didn't get to drink 'cause I was the designated driver (suck to be me). That's my story about my fun weekend.

About today - it was alright 'till we found out that we owe Uncle Sam this year. Sucks! Corrupted Country I should say. I'm sorry, I'll probably just have to shut my mouth about taxes before I offend somebody.

Oh well, I'm going to get off here and work on my accounting.

Pressure Sucks

Company's End of Fiscal Year - and you know how it is. Expect pressure from corporate people and meet your deadlines. I'm just glad I'm caught up with my projects.. whew! On my previous entry, I mentioned about the Linkin Park Concert in Oklahoma City on February 29... well - - - I got our tickets yesterday! We're all excited to be there and gosh, I can't wait to see the crazy crowd - again! (sarcastic) hehe.

Anyway, have you guys noticed lately that people died due to drug overdose? Heh! anybody can die from it - duh... but even prescribed sleeping pills... and that really scares me. Last night Shaun took his anti-inflammatory medicine and he told me he's going to overdose himself - of course I reacted and while I was telling him to quit saying that - he took five pills at a time. I was shocked, speechless and I stood there for a minute thinking "what is going on with this man?" He handed me the medicine pouch with a grin on his face - come to find out, he really has to take 5 pills on the first day, then 4 on the next day, then 3 on the 3rd and so on... I was pissed off in a way but instead of getting mad at him, I hugged him tight and cried, telling him not to scare me again. I still feel the fear that one of these days he'll leave me - that is really scary. Sorry for the drama, but guys, I really love my husband and I can not imagine how my life will be without him. I know my life was great even before I met Shaun - but without my past I would not have him, and I thank God for making it happen.

Well I guess that's all I can say - lol. I may sound dramatic but hey - what can I say? I'm only a victim of real love - - - and so are you ! Bleh!

Linkin Park Concert

February 29, 2008 in OKC - that's a date! Yes! I'm so excited to see the concert and my favorite band!

Actually it was Coby (our Nephew) told us about the concert and he said he's going. So I asked Shaun if he wanted to go and he said yes - so tomorrow I will purchase the tickets. We decided that since its Coby's birthday we'll take care of the ticket and his brother will go with us as well.

I don't care about Coheed, Cambria and Chiodos - all I want is my Linkin Park veh-veh! Gosh - I love this band. I wish my sister in law could come with us but she said she's not a big fan of Linkin Park so maybe after the concert we'll be bar hopping at Bricktown OKC.

I guess that's it for now. I have to go to bed na, maaga pa pasok ko bukas. Hahay - am so excited na...LOL.

I am 60 years old and decided to see what all the hype was about. With the Close Combat Training program, I have seen things that jog my memory, like how to escape from a "choke hold." A noticeable difference from my Judo classes as a teen was that the teacher did not teach me how to "really fight," because everything was geared toward competition. CCT teaches you how to "stop and eliminate the threat" quickly! My learning is going at a reasonable pace; however, I learn and master each part one at a time.
Some of the most significant information I have seen is the 8 points of attack. This was totally new information and a new concept of thinking about how to react to the opponent's attacks. Another thing that I like is that Captain Chris gives not only the move, but also the accompanying counter move. He explains the geometry of the move and counter move. Something I have discovered in a fight is that you cannot dwell on a plan, but "think creatively on the fly."

I have gained more confidence on what to do if multiple people attack you. While you would think that a 60 year old would be done with fighting, you would be mistaken. There is always some one who wants to "screw with the old man." I do not like to fight, so when this happens, I need to be able to react and show this young man the error of his ways. Learning how to extricate myself from a variety of "holds" and then how to dish out "a sound thrashing" is very important to me. CCT does this with no apologies.

I've always wanted to do Martial Arts since I was a kid. I heard about Close Combat Training from a co-worker. She was telling us that she have discovered the The Truth About Martial Arts. My uncle used to tell me that Martial Arts is the World Leader In Self Defense that's why I'm thinking to do Close Combat as well.

Captain Chris' Close Combat helped a lot of individuals - just like Carlyn Ellyson - maybe I should try it myelf.

Icy Cold

I am home right now, didn't go to work thinking that it will be safe not to drive on an icy road. I know I had to learn it but Shaun worry a lot, so here I am, browsing Internet and typing this non-sense entry - LOL. I really don't have a lot of things going on but I'm doing great. My days and nights are pretty much the same routine. Wake up at 4:00 a.m., get ready in an hour, drive to work, make money, get off - go straight home, prepare supper then back to work again online (just for a few hours) then go to bed. Sounds boring huh? - not when Shaun is around, he makes everything interesting - I love my man.

Speaking of Love - Valentine is coming up - any plans yet? Last year, I got a surprise gifts from Shaun. Two of our LP brought it to our office... yeah - that many - LOL. So sweet talaga. I asked him not to do it again this year 'cause I get embarrass when I get surprises, he-he. I hope he'll keep his promise. We've decided just to dine out and maybe go to the mall or something - no extra special party or aything. But I do want to surprise him though - but I don't know what to get him yet.

After Valentines Day - St. Patrick's comes next, and I am so excited. We'll be in OKC on March to have fun, visit Mom and shopping - my favorite. I wish our new Filipino friends in Durant can make it on March, they wanted to come but because of their hectic schedule they can't promise. I really wish they could come - I can already see that the trip will be fun.

I guess that's it for now - I want to crawl back to bed, I'm not really feeling well since this morning.

Seriously, as in talaga, sabi nya pa miss na daw nya si Shanot ko and nag dream pa daw sya about Shaun and his sisters and of course singit naman ako, lol. I was shocked and speechless when my officemate told us that her ex-husband died lastnight. We can not believe that it happened, it so sudden and no one was expecting it. I guess that how life really goes. I was upset when someone didn't even bother to say "sorry to hear" instead of just walking-off, 'how rude'. I hope Carla and her kids will be fine and go on with their lives and keep the memories they had with him.

This situation made me think and worry. I have to pay more attention to Shaun and take care of him more than I always do. I admit that I tend to forget small things here and there but those small things could hurt everything. I am so afraid to lose him and I can not imagine my life without Shaun. Too scary don't you think? One evening your love one's there, the next day, he's gone. I don't want that to happen. I know it will.... eventually but as long as live, I will do everything to make everything alive.

Guys, be cautious on small things that we tend to forget, as I've said, it could hurt big things in the long run. Do not try to ignore what your love one says or do. Even though its nonsense or not worth it, try to pay attention even just a minute of your time. Tell them you love them and put a smile on their face. Got the New Hot Stuff

Yeah, hot stuff alright. I came home early today 'cause I wasn't feeling real good since I woke up. I worked for a half day and left. Migraine attack and fever, gosh... it felt like my head was going to blow up. I called Shaun and he felt the same, so we've decided to go home and take a long afternoon nap. Thank God I felt better now, hoping that tomorrow will be fine. Shaun feels better as well... as I can see, he's playing with Isha as we speak.

Speaking of Isha, she is almost done with her pipi (*period*) and I can't wait for much longer. I've decided to breed her next year after she turns second year old. She's very nice and sweet to us and she is getting clever these days.

My baby Shaun has been sick since Friday. I asked him to go home and crawl to bed but he don't want to leave his work, poor baby. We stayed home for the weekend, well... Misty and Brandon came to us and helped them to get the RV from the Deer Wood ... unfortunately we were not able to get it and Shaun's flu got worse. Oh gosh, hopefully I can pull the mother instinct in me and take care of him well.

Success again if I must say. I made "Nilagang Baboy" with cabbage and all last Saturday for Shaun. I'm not sure if they call that boiled cabbage, but I made it anyway since Shaun told me he loves boiled cabbage. Anyway, after trying to get the RV back, we came home and ate. Shaun had me cook rice and pork bbq - and I'm talking about Pinoy Style with Pinoy Recipe. I was nervous to be honest but flattered when they ate almost all of it, ha-ha. Sissy and Brandon likes my bbq and Nilaga as well as Shaun. So I think I impressed them again... wohooo!!! I'm so happy.

Call Center Love Story - well, as some of you know, Shaun and I used to work with the same company named SYKES (Best Call Center)... I only say that 'cause I've never been to another call centers, he-he. Anyway, so we started from friendship and ended marriage - and we're not the only one, there are couple of associates that have their own call center love story as well. This time, its happening to one of my coolest sisterhood friend and their story is almost exactly the same as ours... kaka-kilig sobra. I'm not going to mention names... as we all know, its prohibited, sorry guys. The story and all she told me was so cute and loving. From text messaging, the email and all... gosh... it feels like re-enactment of me and Shaun. "Sis, I'm so excited for you and the way you describe him to me I think you'll be fine. Can't wait to hear more chikka, he-he"

By the way, I would like to apologize to my friends for not getting back to you lately. It's not that I am ignoring your messages and calls. I'm not mad or anything, we're all cool. I'm just having a hard time keeping up with my email accounts, profiles, blogvertising and house. I admit that I get lazy whenever I get home. Work is tiring and aside from work I have to take care of the house, my husband and our babies... so I am so sorry. I received an email from our corporate office this morning (shown below in small fonts). Well, since I believe in superstitious and want to have luck, I immediately forwarded the email to the people that I know. Unfortunately, I sent it to the wrong people... or should I say... to the wrong "person". I sent it to the Director and President of the Distribution Center... waaaahhh!!!! As soon as I hit the "Send" tab, gosh, it felt like all my blood ran up to my face. I froze and my offcie-mate asked me if I was okay, all i said was 'shit'... I sent a Spam Email to the Big Boss. They thought it was funny but I did cry though... I got scared but am over it. I know I made my own bed and I will lay on it. My supervisor doesn't know about it yet and he's the one who's a little bit strict on this type of things, he-he.

I think I'll be fine. Anyway, here's the email that I sent out... you think I'll get in trouble for it? lol. And come to think it... they can not blame me for sending it out, I'm an Asian damn it... of course I believe in superstitious... ha-ha. And it says on the letter "DO NOT KEEP THIS MESSAGE"... that'll be hilarious if I say that as my excuse. Oh well, it could have been worse.

It feels so great to be back in Church again, finally! I've been away from Church for a very long time. I believe that God have touched my heart and called me to praise Him again. WE used to have a very good bonding, I talked to HIM every single minute of the day, I thank HIM and HE takes care of me... as always. So right now... I Thank God for giving me a big warm welcome embrace. Also, I've met more Filipino friends and I'm that made me so happy.

Anyway, its another year to celebrate and there's no telling what's going to happen. I have a good feeling that this year will bring us great blessings; and I want to keep it that way, ha-ha, though I know there will be unexpected obstacles , but we'll be fine.

How was your Christmas?

I just want to share how my Christmas went this year. It was great and no surpises. We pretty much had it simple but fun. We celebrated Christmas with Shaun's family at his parents place. We ate, opened gifts and played games (Ladies vs. Men)... it was fun.

Shaun's parents gave us a charcoal and smoker grill... we love it. Shaun got me a jewelry set (Opal Set) and accessories for my iPhone. I had a shoes too but I had to return it 'cause I didn't noticed that it was a 4" high, lol, I'm only used to 3". For Shaun, I got him a new Stereo, speakers and sub-woofer for the truck. He's been wanting it for awhile and I'm glad he loves it. He was wanting a leather recliner for Christmas but I gave it to him in advance, it was on Wedding Anniversary. He's kinda' stingy and don't want to share that chair though, lol. We got Isha, Kimber and Lolah their toys too... Isha loves them.

What else? I guess that's all... see, I told you, nothing special, hehe. I called my parents on Christmas and it made me miss them more. So I made a promise that we'll visit them next year.
Anyway, I guess that's it for now, I'm watching E! News about Britney... my baby. (walang kokontra)

I want a New Room

One of my wishes is to have a kitchen and master bed room make over. I have already picked a theme for my kitchen and it would be a coffee bar look. Can't Find the Red Brick Building

We made it to USCIS-North yesterday after a couple of miss turns. We got lost and I was 3 minutes late to my appointment. We so much hate Texas highway signs, no offense, but it is very difficult to drive and watching for your turn at the same time. Very confusing, so guys, I would suggest to drive slow, watch closely for the sign, 'cause sometimes it may look like you're on the wrong lane but you're not... lol. Its like... your next exit is.... here! turn now! Its true... he-he. But we made it home safe.

We went to Saigon Taipei Market in Arlington. They have a good variety of Pinoy products, they have Goldilocks product too... yummy. Later I will eat Siopao for my snack, hehe. This morning we had rice and Longanisa, sarap. We looked for Hongkong Market around Collins and Pioneer but we couldn't find it, apparently Sarah girl gave us the wrong location, ha-ha. That's fine sis... marami pa namang "Red Brick" sa Texas, ha-ha, mahahanap pa rin namin 'yan.

Speaking of Sarah, we went to Filipiniana Bakery and Cafe in Bedford Texas. The food was awesome, Sarah and I had Lechong Kawali, Shaun had Pork Barbque and Lumpiang Shanghai Vegetable. I ordered one extra 'cause I thought they're small, but I was wrong... they were huge, ha-ha, so I brought them home for snacks. Abs and his brother went to get pizza 'cause they don't eat Asian cuisine, they like italian. That's fine, that's understandable. Then Vaklang Dharling came and I was excited 'cause it was our first time meeting. We got along,super kalog din and loves lakwatsa, he-he. I'm so lucky to have friends like them here in U.S. Anyway, this Filipino Restaurant has been in business for 15 years, they're known in town for a real home made pinoy "only pinoy" cuisine, they cater too just so you know.

We stopped at Starbucks to grab a coffee for the road. We supposed to stop at the Elk's Lodge to grab something to drink but we were tired, so we went home and played with Isha for a few hours and sleep. Then I woke up freezing, I couldn't open my door because of the ice, ha-ha.

Anyway, I guess I have to get off here and talk to you guys later. Mga sisters... thank you for meeting us up... next time ulit ha. Mwah!

Dallas We Go

I have to do my biometric at USCIS this coming Saturday and we'll meet up with Sarah and Abe. I can't wait to see them, especially Caleb. I'm hoping to see Dharl also, but I've been trying to get in touch with her, hindi naman sumasagot ng phone, ha-ha. Vakla, call me when you get a chance okay so we could meet this weekend, ano ka ba.

Are guys excited for Christmas? I thought I was but I just realized that I'm not. Neither does Shaun. Can't you tell? I haven't posted any plans or photos that has something to do with Christmas? Well, maybe last month I did, but lately I feel so depressed. I don't know why but just so you know, we're not excited at all.

We just had our 3rd Year Wedding Anniversary and we just stayed home. We worked all day and we had a tantrums, ha-ha. But of course, we had our sweet moments.. he-he, palampasin ba naman kaya? ha-ha. We really didn't plan to go out on our anniversary. We thought that since we're going to Dallas, why not just enjoy it there with Sarah and Abs, diba masaya? For the past 2 years, we always celebrate it with Mike and Tarina, and this year looks like it didn't happened. But last Saturday we dine out with them and played bowling for 4 hours straight... we all had fun.

Anyway, so much for the chikka... wala namang new samin, same old same old parin. Merry Christmas nalang sa lahat!

Have you guys been to San Diego? I would love to visit my relatives and friends over there. And not only that, I'd like to see the theme parks, waterfront, and cultural attractions. I think that'll be awesome. I want to see their beach.... I miss the beach so much. And the resort and house rentals... gosh, I can't wait. They have this place called "La Jolla" I heard this place is filled with upscale attractions. They have vacation rentals, ranging from designer boutiques and world-class restaurants to art galleries and beaches galore. And another place called "Del Mar racetrack" this place is few minutes close to San Diego, they offer horse racing... who does not love horseback racing? Shaun loves Mexican stuff so we'll probably go to "Seaport Village".

Now, if you are looking for a good investment ... San Diego is the best place to live.

I want to go to San Diego!!! That'll be the best summer vacation I guess. He-he

I'm In Again

Wow, its been awhile since my last post. So how is everybody? Since Shaun arrived from Colorado, we've been busy working and hanging out. The last night out we had was during Jody's (Shaun's Buddy) 30th birthday in Texas. It was fun... I should have took a picture of the Naked Half Body Booby Cake, he-he. I can't wait to see them again... they're fun... No Drama! haha. Anyway, while I was out from blogging, I received messages from friends and family on YM, CP, E-Mail, Friendster, Multiply and MySpace. I just want to thank you guys for remembering me... I read them all that's for sure, I may have not replied to it yet though, he-he.

Thanksgiving just passed by... and we had a great time. It made me miss my family in Pinas, grabe 4th time of Thanksgiving and Christmas without them... how sad. Pero sige lang, magkakasama rin kami. By the way, I baked 2 dessert and 1 side dish on Thanksgving and Shaun's family loved it. Wow, na-impressed ko sila... ha-ha. I'm tired of being in-charge of cups and plates noh... grrr. For side dish I baked Sweet Potato Southern Style, for dessert, Chocolate Delight with Pecan and Green Stuff with Marshmallow (yummy). Thank You Rhonda for sharing your Mom's Home Made Recipe Book... I may have to copy the whole book, ha-ha. So guys, if you want the recipe just let me know... very easy to make and you'll enjoy it.

Oo nga pala, nakakaloka ang chikka that I got few days ago. Ayaw talaga akong tan-tanan ng isang brutitch... aba, questionin ba naman kung anong trabaho ng asawa ko dahil naka afford ng iPhone for me... ha-ha. Golly, how rude to ask. Hindi lang 'yan, laitin ba naman ako kasi Oklahoma *southern* ako nakatira, susmio... isang tidal wave ka lang ija ereased ka na sa mapa... ha-ha. Dinga pansin 'yan lugar nyo sa Globe noh. Patama lang ito sa brutitch na tira-ng-tira sa akin wala namang binat-bat. Nakakatawa ka talaga, ikaw itong nag sabing hindi namin afford ang mamahaling bagay... eh ikaw naman itong gulat na gulat sa katotohanan... ha-ha. What a Big Shame! Kakahiya ka! at kapatid mo! Mayabang na wala namang dapat ipag mayabang... ha-ha.

Have to get off here now... baka masabi ko ang name ng brutitch, wag na, kawawa naman, baka matauhan pa 'yan. Naku, I can't wait sa comeback ng friend.. ano kayang bagong sasabihin ng guilty epals??? hmmm???

Toilet Paper Wedding Gown Contest Winners

One usually wears a wedding gown only once... SO...why not make it DISPOSABLE!! ??

The dresses entered in this contest were SO SPECTACULAR, that we HAD to award more prizes, this year. We even gave Hannah Kim a $200.00 ' Second Place' award... as the detail on her dress is incredible! And, the judging was so difficult this year, that we also gave out THREE $50.00 'Honorable Mention' awards. It is hard to believe that ALL of theses wedding dresses are made from toilet paper...But, they are!!

Watch out Vera Wang!! Not only did we have more entries than last year...they just keep getting better and better. And, everyone had a great time making their special wedding gown creations. Unfortunately, we can't put all of the entries on, but here are just a few of these unbelievable toilet paper dresses.
